Customer Requirements: Our customer reached out with a specific need: to clean, fill, and stain block their bathroom ceiling after mould remediation work was completed by The Mould Dr. As their preferred painting company, we were asked to handle the next phase of the project, ensuring the ceiling was restored to a clean, fresh state while also tackling any underlying moisture concerns.
Project Overview: After the mould removal process by The Mould Dr, we stepped in to finish the job by preparing and painting the ceiling. The ceiling had experienced significant mould and moisture damage, and our goal was to ensure that all remnants of the mould were effectively sealed and that the bathroom looked fresh, clean, and welcoming once again.
Work Performed: The project began with extensive preparation, including careful cleaning of the surface and thorough sanding to remove any lingering imperfections. One challenge we encountered during the process was the appearance of bubbles in the paintwork. This was traced back to moisture trapped beneath the old and new layers of paint, which was preventing proper adhesion and causing imperfections.

To resolve this, we used a high-quality stain blocker to seal the moisture in, preventing it from causing further issues. Once the stain blocker had dried, we proceeded with patching, sanding, and applying a fresh coat of paint. The result was a smooth, durable finish that not only looked great but also addressed the underlying moisture concerns.
